Ogle County Welcomes New Employees
The Ogle County Probation Department hired three new employees in the month of December. Amanda Troye, Juvenile Probation Officer, Jeff Birr, Residential Field Officer, and Christa Reiter, Focus House Residential Counselor were sworn in on December 14, 2016 by the Honorable Judge Robert T. Hanson.
Kenneth Burn, Director of Court Services and Martine Lyle, Director of Focus House, both shared their excitement to add these new faces to their team and look forward to collaborating in order to reach common goals of the Court Services Department. Operating under the Office of the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Ogle County, the Ogle County Probation Department administers a wide range of programs covering both standard and specialized probation supervision and pretrial and presentence services. Through its programs, the Probation Department provides the court with pertinent information at many stages of the criminal justice process, enhances public safety, compensates victims of crime and holds offenders accountable while affording them opportunities to make positive changes in their lives.
