On Monday March 27th, 2017, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a car Burglary in progress in the Woodlawn Acres Subdivision. Upon Deputy’s arrival two offenders were identified and flea the area. Subjects were later located in a field North of the Burglary on foot. Juan G. Gutierrez, 22, of Rochelle, was charged with Burglary to a Motor Vehicle and Resisting a Peace Officer. Elva L. Cruz, 36, also of Rochelle, was charged with Resisting a Peace Officer.
On 03/26/17 at 2011 hours Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a motorist who had stopped on the roadway in the 8000 blk E.IL Rt 38, facing east in the westbound lane. Upon arrival, Deputies found a the vehicle, a 2010 Hyundai, had been involved in an accident at an unknown location. Upon completing the investigation into the incident, the driver, Jasey L. Moore, age 38 of Rochelle was taken into custody for DUI. She was transported to Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. Moore was also cited for improper lane usage.
On 03/26/17 at 1642 hours Deputies responded to 110 Foxglove Lane in Davis Junction for a report of a Physical Domestic between a father and son. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Michael Marx, age 49 of Davis Junction for Domestic Battery. Michael Marx was transported to Ogle County Jail and will appear in court on 03/27/17.
On 03-25-17 Cheramie Ricke, age 36 of DeKalb was arrested for Failure to Appear with a bond of $408 Full Cash. Ricke remains in the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court on 03-27-17 at 1:00 pm.
On 03-24-17 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:
Philip Aloisio, age 29 of Rockford for Driving While License Suspended. Aloisio did not post the $3,000 10% bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Aloisio will appear in court on 03-27-17 at 1:00 pm.
Timothy Pruitt age 50 of Rockford for Failure to Appear ($950.77 Full Cash), Obstructing ID ($3,000 10%) and Seat Belt Required Passenger ($1,000 10%). Pruitt will appear in court on 03-27-17 at 1:00 pm.
Steven Ward, age 40 of LaSalle for Failure to Appear with a bond of $2,656 Full Cash. Ward will appear in court on 03-24-17 at 1:00 pm.
On 3/24/17 at 3:38 PM Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Illinois Rte. 64 and Tomahawk Dr. in rural Oregon for a reported car vs. bicyclist. It was learned that a red 2011 Chevy truck driven by Donald Orsted, 69 of Mt. Morris, IL, was west bound when he failed to yield to a bicycle ridden by Matthew Reckmeyer, 61 of Lincoln, Nebraska. Reckmeier received minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Orsted received a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and will appear in court on 4/19/17 at 9 AM. Deputies were assisted by Oregon Fire and Mt. Morris Ambulance. The crash remains under investigation.
On 03/23/17 at 2225 hours Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of N River road stemming from a driving complaint. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Michael S Topp, 28, of Sterling for DUI alcohol. Topp also received citations for Failure to Signal, Improper Lane Use, Driving on Shoulder, No Insurance and No Seat Belt. Topp was transported to the OCCC and held in lieu of bond.
Ogle County Deputies responded to a Domestic Dispute in the 400 block of Davis Drive in Leaf River. After a short investigation Victoria L Myers (58) of Mt. Morris was placed under arrest for Domestic Battery. She was transported to the Jail and held in lieu of bond where she was placed into the custody of the correctional officers.
On 03/23/17 the following individuals were arrested on Outstanding Ogle County warrants:
- Terrance Ross, age 22 of Oregon, for Driving While License Suspended. Ross did post $5,000 (10%) for bond and will appear in court on 04/07/17 at 9 am.
- Gretchen Roberts, age 35 of Leaf River, for Driving While License Suspended. Roberts did post $3,000 (10%) for bond and will appear in court on 03/27/17 at 1 pm.
On 03/22/17 Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of 4000 block Meridian Road in Stillman Valley reference to a reported road rage. After an investigation Tyler Davis, 20, of Byron was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
